PCG Japanese Satellite

Flag of Japan and institutional logo

The Japan Satellite of the Cochrane Pregnancy and Childbirth Group (PCG) was established in July 2013 and is located at the National Center for Child Health and Development (NCCHD) in Tokyo, Japan. The Satellite is funded by a three-year research grant awarded by the Japan Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. Our main aims are to provide support to Japanese review authors to prepare, write and update their Cochrane reviews; to introduce new authors to Cochrane methods and support them through the processes, and to advocate the use of systematic reviews in evidence-based practice and policymaking in Japan. We hold workshops in Japanese throughout the year in Tokyo, and we provide support in Japanese and English at one-to-one meetings in person, by email or over the phone.
